Vianet Expands Market Presence with Acquisition of Netspectrum's Third-Party Internet Division

Vianet is excited to announce the successful acquisition of Netspectrum's third-party internet division, encompassing their Cable and DSL customer base. This strategic acquisition solidifies Vianet's commitment to providing reliable internet services to the region.

The acquisition leverages the established relationship between Vianet and Netspectrum, ensuring a seamless transition for existing Netspectrum customers. Vianet's extensive experience and deep roots in Northern Ontario guarantee continued support and service excellence for all acquired subscribers.

Vianet is actively working to integrate the acquired customer base. Customers will continue to be served by Netspectrum for the month of February. We will be reaching out directly to all customers who are able to upgrade to Vianet Fibre services. At that time, we will work with customers to arrange appointments to upgrade their services to fibre.

No. Your price will remain the same.

Yes. Vianet processes automatic payments on the 10th day of each month. Your first withdrawal date will be Monday March 10th for your March 1 - 31, 2025 services.

Yes. Vianet will bill your credit card each month on the 10th.

Yes, however, you will need to supply a new VOID cheque to Vianet. You can do so via email to billing-documents@vianet.ca . If you are unsure, please contact us and we will help you, 1-800-788-0363.

Yes, please visit MyAccount to create a new account using your customer ID found on your statement.

Yes, business accounts who have requested an invoice will receive on the first week of each month via email.

No. Your billing period remains the same, but your payment date has been changed to the 10th of each month. Vianet does accept other forms of payment such as online banking. If you wish to change your payment method, please call our Customer Service Team at 1-800-788-0363 and we will be happy to help you do that.

Service Inquiries

Yes, for some customers. As we work with third party providers to move your customer records from Netspectrum to Vianet, you will experience a service outage of 1-5 hours. These outages will be occurring during regular business hours Monday - Friday between February 12th - 28th.

We are still working on the best way to transfer phone services from Netspectrum to Vianet. Your service will remain active while we transition services. Please watch your email for details.

Yes, absolutely! Call our Customer Service team to have your account set up immediately or visit Flextv - Sign Up | Vianet to place your order. A minimum Internet service speed of 25Mbps download and 5Mbps upload is required to run Flextv.

Equipment Inquiries

No. There is no immediate need to change equipment. Our Technical Support team will contact you directly if we need to change out your equipment.
